Accommodations for the Intimacy Retreats are available at EcoTulum, a group of three sister-resorts on the Caribbean Sea, 90 miles south of Cancun. Azulik and Cabanas Copal are side-by-side along the beach and cliffs, and Hotel Zahra is just a short walk down the beach. We have a variety of rooms reserved for you to choose from, at discounted rates, from $30/night - $260/night!. These are each described below. The most common selections are the fabulous SeaView Villas at Azulik and the SeaView King Cabanas at Cabanas Copal. The rates differ depending on the date and length of your stay.

There are restaurants at both Zahra and Cabanas Copal, as well as other restaurants nearby, and a beach bar at Cabanas Copal. The accommodations are all romantically candlelit, with easy access to the clothing-optional beach. Azulik has fans, although the tropical sea breeze is generally enough to keep you cool.  

Azulik consists of only 15 villas on 65 meters of beachfront, is adults-only, and provides an upscale experience in a rustic environment. Cabanas Copal has several different room types. Zahra, more family-oriented, has fans and electric lighting until 11pm and is situated on a non-clothing-optional beach..

Although there are no TVs, radios or telephones at EcoTulum, free wireless internet access is available at each location.

The Intimacy Retreat workshop sessions are held in a screened-in pavilion (thatched-roof "palapa"), a short walk from wherever you choose to stay.

Cabanas Copal
Shared Bath. A small, cozy beach cabaña with sea views, a double bed, and a sand floor. The beach is literally outside your door! Bathroom/shower facilities are nearby. There is a table and chairs, but no closet. There are chairs outside and a hammock. Staying here is a very romantic camping adventure! Only 2 available.  
October:  $30/night
January: $35/night

SeaView King. A larger cabaña, with king size bed, cement floors, closet space and a private bathroom with hot shower. Most of these are along the cliff, with lots of windows to enjoy the fantastic sunrise view!
October: $80/night (with 4th NIGHT FREE = $60/night)
January: $82/night (Regular rate, $115)

SeaView Quad w/ two queen beds. Larger than the SeaViews, with private bathroom/shower, and closet space. Built of wood native to the peninsula in the traditional Mayan style, these are stuccoed on the inside and have natural stone or cement floors. Spectacular panoramic views of the sea through a combination of glass and screen windows for optimal ventilation.
October: $95/night  (with 4th NIGHT FREE = $71.25/night)!
January 2011: $93/night  (Regular rate, $130)

Azulik - SeaView Villas
The unbelievably exotic Azulik villas are large cabins with a king sleeping bed - and a queen swinging bed for romance and relaxation. They are constructed of fine local hardwoods, with a large private deck. You will enjoy the spectacular sea view to the East, while a series of ceiling to floor windows show the tropical jungle to the West. Each has a carved tree trunk bathtub inside, as well as an outdoor tub on the deck! Azulik resort is adjacent to the Cabanas Copal Resort and has concierge, room service. You can book spa services in your own room. Stay at Azulik for a truly romantic week that you will remember forever!!

From a 2008 Participant: "We spent the extra money and stayed at Azulik. It was breath-takingly beautiful. We were lulled to sleep by the sounds of the wind and the ocean, and awakened by birds. We had our own private deck, with a hot-tub right on the cliff overlooking the Caribbean. The food was tasty and service was fine. If I had to summarize our experience there in one word it would be "magical."

Also part of EcoTulum, Just down the beach from Azulik and Cabanas Copal, is the Hotel Zahra. These cabanas (on a non-clothing-optional beach) have electricity until 11pm, have a King bed plus bunk beds, and large floor to ceiling windows. October $140/night (with 4th NIGHT FREE = $105/night)
